My mother and I applied henna to our hair yesterday. The verdict? I semi-hate it. Not because it doesn't do as it promises, [my hair feels great. very moist, very healthy, my curls are feeling good] but because it's a bitch to wash out and I happen to LOVE my natural hair color. The henna has altered it and I'm not appreciating that.
Would I do henna again? Nope. I'm looking into a cassia treatment instead. Right now I'm working on removing this coloring from my hair though -________________- blehh !
As for my mother .. she has a couple of gray hairs .. the henna turned them orange. She's absolutely livid. Yikes.
