Homegoing

I mean that literally. Not in the, funeralistic/let's all cry type way, but in the I'm going home tomorrow night type way.

Financial aid did nothing for me. They suggested private loans, which we all know will kill you. Either way, I'd need a cosigner for most things, and a cosigner just isnt available at the moment (lovely).

This could be worse, I could be dead.

That's about as uplifting as I can be at this moment. I don't think I've ever fought for something so hard only to have it blow up in my face anyway. It's a beautiful thing, this education system. Wonderful how it all works out in the end.

Am I bitter? Yes.

These promises that were made in the name of education better come to fruition quick. Otherwise, I'll be that neighborhood pusha, sellin' on a campus near you. If I'm not learning, ain't nobody learning. You can believe that ..
